Beyond the Plus is looking for a Treasurer to help create budgets, track funds, file tax-related paperwork, and other duties as they come up.
As the Treasurer, you lead one of the most important roles there is: funding. An organization can't thrive without money to drive its operations. The Treasurer keeps track of our spending and earnings, creates budgets, communicates with key team members, and works full time with the board of directors to keep the organization's finances running smoothly.
The Treasurer operates within the Board of Directors, which are registered through the secretary of state as being directors of this organization.
This role is volunteer work, as such, we do not have funds significant enough to pay anyone who does it. If you care about making a change and being a part of this organization, then we implore you to apply.
This position is open to those that live in Washington state and who can make regular meetings located in King County. Most work is remote, but occasional in-person commitments are a necessity.
