The Event Organizer position is one where you will be researching event venues, communicating with staff your findings, and helping set up events to an extent. In the future we may extend this position with additional responsibilities as they are required.
This is a volunteer role, and thus does not receive compensation. Your payment is in making a difference in your community.
Requirements
- Must be able to commute to Seattle regularly.
- Must be able to keep in contact with staff through digital instant messaging channels.
- Must be able to manipulate a spreadsheet.
- Must be able to use email to hold conversations with people outside of the organization.
Responsibilities
- Researching event venues and compiling information about them in a spreadsheet.
- Attending at least a majority of events to help set up beforehand.
