Following are policies related to events hosted by Beyond the Plus. They are intended to keep everyone safe and happy. If you have any questions regarding them, then please let us know via our Contact form.

Event Privacy

Our events are kept under wraps to a degree, as giving the exact time and place is subject to harassment by some people. As such, it is expected that those given private information about events (such as exactly when and where they are happening) keep said information secure. In public spaces, the only amount of information given should match the information that Beyond the Plus officially publishes. Members may let trusted parties know about event information (such as when bringing guests) but any failure by members to protect the privacy of the event falls liable on said members, and may be punishable up to revocation of membership. (Event privacy falls under Discretion in our Terms of Service.)

Conduct

Attendees (a member, staff member, or guest attending an event) must adhere to our Terms of Service while at events, and must not use events to facilitate illegal activity or anything else our organization forbids. Attendees are encouraged not to start drama, uncivil disagreements, or discourse at our events, and some extents of doing so may warrant disciplinary action up to revocation of membership. Attendees must not discriminate against other attendees, and must respect each other, harassment is forbidden. Attendees may not "dox" or release information about other attendees.

Photos

To preserve the privacy of our attendees, photography is not allowed at our events.

Guests

When it comes to community, we believe the more the merrier. Some people might not be able to become members, or might want to see what we're like before signing up, and that's okay! People can attend events as guests of other registered members or staff. While we do encourage everyone who wants to attend events to sign up, we don't want to keep anyone from coming who wants to. Members can bring any amount of guests as they wish.

All guests must accompany a registered member, meaning that members can't just tell their friends to come to our events without being there themselves. Members are responsible for their guest(s) and are liable for making sure that they follow our Terms of Service. Members don't have to spend the entire time at events with their guest(s), but they must arrive with them and leave with them.

Venue Terms

Alcohol, cannabis, and other substances of varying legality are prohibited from being used at our events. Gambling is prohibited. Smoking is prohibited. Vandalism is prohibited. Open flame is prohibited.
